http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2012/01/sew-your-own-mittens.html  Ok guys this is a Diy from one of my favorite blogs! A beautiful mess with elsie! Here is an awesome mitten d.i.y! For full instructions follow the link or click on the picture of my mittens. So this is how my mitten attempt turned out! For my first try I used a really thin sweater to see how it would turn out. I'll probably hit a fifi's (consignment boutique) or something for a cute, cheap bulky sweater for warm mittens. After I make those I'll probably post a pic :) So cute! I absolutely adore knitted mittens and this tutorial really motivated me to finally make some!

The wonders of nail polish!!!!!
Ok so this next series of posts is a DIY!! Yay! Finally! Yeah took me long enough.:) ok so nail polish is a wonderful awesome bad smelling thing. And it has a lot of surprising uses! So my first DIY for nail polish Is a pencil rideaux! Fancy talk for redo*. :)  ok so you know how it is. Your're out of pencils and you are jeolous that the friend you always borrow from has a collection of neat colorful perfect pencils. Well all they had left when I went to staples was ugly plain ones:( never fear! I will show you a cute way to make your pencil an enviable writing utensil;) so I hope you enjoy this cute (admittedly mindless;) DIY!
Supplies: Sparkley Nail polish of your choice, plain pencils, and nail polish with nylons ( little shapes mine were pink hearts.)
This was the nail polish I used that had nylon hearts in it. [Sally Hansen Hard as Nails with Nylons]

Paint your first pencil with the co-ordinating nail polish. These look pretty cute together dont ya think? When the nail polish is drying lay the pencil across something it wont stick to e.g. wax paper or across a small gap.

See? Thats how it looks when you're done! On to pencil number 2!

                                                                          Ta-Da!

You have to be careful when painting. Be sure to use smooth, even, thin brush strokes until the polish color is prominent over the pencil.

Finished pencil el numero duos!

Finished products! Yay so much prettier now! Well I hope you liked my little Diy!

Winter is here and so is  winter style. Sweaters, bulky coats, boots, warm cozy sweats;) I adore winter, but I also love spring. And the sundresses, capris and shoes that go with it.♥
So here is my first official fashion post of 2012. Spring fashion. Sorry it's so early:)

Although spring has not yet sprung, spring fashions have been out for what seems like forever. The trends, the clothes and the accessories are all part of what the 2012 spring collections will bring. But until you’re busting out in capris, sandals and cute tees, here are five warm weather looks for all occasions. Each outfit is three pieces, a top, a bottom and an accessory. They are all under $100 and are all from H&M and were put together and co ordinated by yours truly aka me:)

Warm Spring Day! So adorbs! And the best part- this whole look is achieved for under $56 at H&M.
Shoes►$13
Top►$18
Pants►$25

A more ballerina-esque edition. Same clothes different colors and new shoes.
Shoes►$15

Cute and funky with a little retro touch. The top looks great tucked in(or out:).
Great for:
·         a daytime movie
·         lunch with friends
Shorts►$18
Top►$25
Necklace►$13

This outfit is indescribable! Country chic? Not. Party look? No! But however you describe it it’s very casual, yet the skirt is just throws such a curve ball. It’s like an unexpected use of your mom’s denim skirt to become girly and chic.
Statement piece: the skirt
Skirt►$35(with this you can probably find a truly vintage one at a thrift store for a lower price.)
Top►$10
◄Bag $25

Well I hope you like it. My style is vintage, fun, trendy, stand out, (well usually) and I hope these outfits reflect that.
