Big cover ups: These are great for cooler beaches. They start you off covered up on the way down to the beach and offer full coverage for walks where you don't wanna be sunburned. I f you like to be protected from the sun more these are great for that! They also cover you up enough that if you have a sudden ice cream craving you can go get some with out feeling self conscious in your swimsuit. Some of the cons are they are big and take up alot of space in bags! And if you are hot, sweaty, and sandy on the way in from the beach, you will either have something extra to carry or something extra to wear and make you hot.
Small cover ups: These are cute no matter what beach you are going to! They offer a glimpse of your bathing suit but cover up the most important places. The will probably not keep you warm though so if you are at a northern beach, this may not be the way to go:). They are very and cute and come in so many different variations and style. Wraps, mini skirts, mini shorts, crop tops etc! They are more convenient to carry and aren't heavy to throw on or shove in a bag. But they do not offer enough coverage to go into a public place because you're still in a bathing suit! No benefits of a dress here!
OK guys! Hope you like my cover-up basics! Do you agree with my theories?Respond in the comments! (nicely please;)
thanks!

little ol' me
